Version: v1-draft
This policy explains what personal data WhatsWorth collects when you use it to generate a WW Score, why, how it's used, how long it's kept, and the choices you have — including deleting it entirely. It applies to the WhatsWorth website and product; it does not apply to any third-party site you reach by following a link from it.
WhatsWorth's operating entity name and privacy contact address are being finalized and will be published here before this policy is treated as final.
We do not knowingly collect sensitive categories of personal data (e.g. health, religion, caste, sexual orientation) as part of any WhatsWorth flow, and the assessment does not ask for them.
Nothing is processed until you explicitly agree to this policy — that agreement is captured before your first piece of data is entered, whether that's uploading a CV, uploading a LinkedIn export, or typing into the basic form, not merely before your score is revealed. You can withdraw that consent at any time using the delete mechanism in Section 6, which stops further processing and starts the deletion process described there.
We use your data to calculate and display your WW Score, Level and confidence rating; show how your score has changed over time and why; power the optional features you choose to use; resolve company and institution facts so you don't have to; and operate, secure and improve the product. We do not use your assessment data to make automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects on you outside of WhatsWorth itself — your WW Score is information for you, not a decision made about you by a third party.
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with: service providers who process data on our behalf under contract (our hosting/database provider, and the AI service used for company/institution lookup, which receives only the name you type, not your personal assessment answers); authorities, if required by law; and nobody else, unless you explicitly choose to share your score using the sharing feature below.
If you use the "share" feature, WhatsWorth creates a link that shows a read-only summary of your score (score, level, confidence) without your full profile detail, and by default without your full name. You control if and when this link is created; anyone who has the link can view that summary.
These are two names for the same, single action, available at any time from your account settings.
While your account is active: for as long as you keep using WhatsWorth, or until you request deletion. After deletion: personally identifying data is permanently removed as described in Section 6; anonymised score/career data is retained indefinitely for aggregate analysis. Our policy for accounts inactive over an extended period is still being finalized.
Subject to applicable law (to be finalised in legal review), you can: access the personal data we hold about you; correct inaccurate data (most assessment fields are editable directly in your profile); withdraw consent and delete your data at any time; and ask how a specific score was calculated, including which framework version was used. Our privacy contact address for exercising these is being finalized.
We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections, access controls limiting who can view raw personal data, and server-side validation of every scoring input. No system is perfectly secure, and we'll notify affected users and relevant authorities as required by law in the event of a breach affecting personal data.
WhatsWorth is intended for working professionals and is not directed at, or knowingly used to collect data from, anyone under the applicable local age of digital consent.
This section is being finalized, depending on where infrastructure and service providers are located relative to where users are.
If this policy changes, we'll update the version and date at the top of this page and, for material changes, ask for your consent again before continuing to process your data under the new terms.
Our privacy contact address is being finalized and will be published here.
